Basketball 7/06/10Matt Clark, Athletic Director and Men's Basketball Coach at Lincoln Christian University is happy to announce that Kyle Rust a 6'4" forward from Reitz High School in Evansville, IN has committed to continue his Inter-collegiate career at LCU in the National Christian College Athletic Association. "Kyle's dream was to play college basketball and it's just going to work out for him," said Reitz coach Michael Adams. "He loves the game and loves to play and he has the opportunity to continue and it's awesome." Adams said, “Rust will be a perfect fit for the Red Lions.” "He's what they're looking for as far as the kind of people they want representing them," Adams said. Rust averaged 8 points and 6 rebounds for the Panthers (15-9), who won the ONB Classic Tournament title and finished second in the Class 4A sectional.

Baseball 04/06/10The Red Lions dropped a double header to Robert Morris Tuesday afternoon 7-1 and 13-7. Andrew Scates was the losing pitcher in the first game, giving up 11 hits. Joshua Bennett led the LCU offense with 3 hits and Jared Nassiff and Seth Martin each added 2. Larry Weese contributed a double...In the second game Anthony Ochoa was the losing pitcher, surrendering 10 hits. The Red Lions had 2 hits each from Nassiff, Weese, and Christopher Hedrick. Bennett had a home run...The Red Lions are now 6-15.
