	Baseball 03/11/10 The Red Lions baseball team from Lincoln Christian University is currently on their annual spring trip, and have registered a 1-4 record thru Tuesday with one more double header scheduled before they return. KNOXVILLE.TN-The Red Lions won their first game of the season by defeating Johnson Bible College 11-5. Richard Weese was the winning pitcher with nine strikeouts recorded and added a double and home run with four runs batted in. Seth Martin had 4 hits while Clay Foster and Chris Hedrick each added three hits. TOCCOA FALLS, GA- The Red Lions dropped two game to Toccoa Falls, the NCCAA number one ranked team in the nation. LCU dropped the first game 14-4 , with Weese, Jarrod Nassiff, and Justin Walen each garnering 2 hits. LCU lost the second game to Toccoa Falls 12-2. Walen, Nassiff and Josh Bennett had two hits apiece. PARAGOULD, AR- The Red Lions dropped two games to Crowley's Ridge. In the first game CR prevailed 10-3 with Nick Walters and Foster each getting two hits. In the second game Weese, Andrew Scates and Bennett each had two hits each in a 6-2 loss.
	Women's Basketball 03/01/10 GRAND RAPIDS, MI- Two members of the Red Lions women's basketball team from Lincoln Christian University were honored at the NCCAA Division II Regional Tournament this past weekend. Both Kim Harden,Junior from Arcola and Sheena Cooper,Freshman from Monrovia, Liberia earned "Regional Honorable Mention".
	Men's Basketball 03/01/10 WATERTOWN, WI- Three members of the Red Lions men's basketball team from Lincoln Christian University were honored at the NCCAA Division II Regional Championship's this past week. Jon Wallace , Senior from Roberts, IL was named as a "First Team All Region" player; Chris Lawson, Sophomore from Bloomington was named to the "Second team All Region" and Landon Callahan , Senior from Seneca, IL earned an "Honorable Mention All Region" recognition. The Red Lions completed their season at 18-8.
	Women's Basketball 02/26/10 GRAND RAPIDS, MI- The Red Lions women's basketball team of Lincoln Christian University lost to Moody Bible Institute in the NCCAA Division II Regional Tournament Thursday evening 88-42. The Red Lions end their season 0-19. The Red Lions were led by Sheena Cooper with 20 points and 10 rebounds and Jonni McCaslin with 16 points and 6 rebounds. Catherine Tuley added four points and Kim Harden scored two.
	Men's Basketball 02/26/10 WATERTOWN, WI- The Red Lions men's basketball team from Lincoln Christian University defeated Moody Bible Institute 65-53 to advance to the semi-finals of the NCCAA Division II Midwest Regional Tournament Thursday evening. Led by Jon Wallace with 17 points and 13 rebounds and Chris Lawson with 17 points , LCU will now meet Maranatha Baptist Bible College today at 6:00 pm. The Red Lions shot 44.7% from the field and 65.5% from the free throw stripe and out rebounded Moody 33-30 to improve their season record to 18-7.
