Name: Lydia Bunting

Major: General Ministry/TESOL
Position: Setter
Year in school: Senior
Favorite Scripture: James 1:4 "Perseverance must finish its work so that you may be mature and complete, not lacking anything"
Hobbies and/or favorite activities: I enjoy camping, being outside, reading, and cooking.
Favorite volleyball memory: Everything that happens during road trips.
 
Name: Alicia Diane Carson
Hometown: Bloomingdale, MI
Major: Undecided
Position: Outside Hitter
Year in school: Freshman
Favorite Scripture: Titus 2:8, "Sound speech that cannot be condemned, so that an opponent may be put to shame, having nothing evil to say about us."
Hobbies and/or favorite activities: I enjoy volleyball, basketball, softball, amusement parks, swimming, coloring, hanging out with my friends, movie nights, and staying up late.
Favorite volleyball memory: My Junior year of high school when we were the Conference Champions.

Favorite Scripture: James 1:1-27. This entire chapter teaches us the nature of perseverance.
Hobbies and/or favorite activities: I enjoy artsy stuff, traveling, eating popcorn, and anything outdoors with friends and family.
Favorite volleyball memory: The dance party on the bus.

Favorite Scripture: 1 Corinthians 13; 4-7, "Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. It does not dishonor others, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs. Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres."
Hobbies and/or favorite activities: I enjoy riding horses, watching movies, and reading.
Favorite volleyball memory: The best feeling in volleyball is the huddle after a really big win. It's amazing to be a part of such a great celebration after so much hard work.

Year in school: Sophomore
Favorite Scripture: 1 Corinthians 9:24, "Do you not know that in a race all the runners run, but only one gets the prize? Run in such a way as to get the prize." Also, James 1:2-3, "Consider it pure joy, my brothers, whenever you face trials of many kinds, because you know that the testing of your faith develops perseverance."
Hobbies and/or favorite activities: I enjoy volleyball, movies and popcorn, horseback riding, spending time with friends and family, musicals, sporting events, reading, & cooking out!
Favorite volleyball memory: Going to Florida for Nationals last season! I had so much fun traveling with the team. Getting to play volleyball at nationals was something I never thought I would get to experience. It was great to share it with a group of girls, that in just one season, I grew so close to. I feel blessed to be a part of this team.

Hobbies and/or favorite activities: I enjoy scrapbooking, eating, laughing, coloring, arts and crafts, four-wheeling, hiking, swimming, nature, watching sunrises and sunsets, and reading books on rainy days.
Favorite volleyball memory: Being on a team with Jamie McFadden and Lydia Bunting.

Favorite Scripture: Jeremiah 29:11, "'For I know the plans I have for you,' declares the Lord, 'plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.'"
Hobbies and/or favorite activities: I enjoy volleyball, softball, dancing, singing, fishing, biking, running, and stand- up comedy.
Favorite volleyball memory: Winning the state championship on my birthday in high school or receiving the kill leader award sophomore year as a setter at the staggering height of 5'2".

Favorite Scripture: Philippians 3:14, "I press on toward the goal to win the prize for which God has called me heavenward in Christ Jesus."
Hobbies and/or favorite activities: I enjoy rollerblading, flying kites, playing sports, going on walks, painting, baking, going to the movies, and shopping.
Favorite volleyball memory: Creating the "Jamie-Rachel" dance. :]

Favorite Scripture: : I love the whole book of Esther. She was a courageous, godly woman and can still serve as a mentor to Christians today.
Hobbies and/or favorite activities: : I enjoy volleyball, having fun with my family and friends, watching movies & TV shows, & drinking coffee while listening to good music.
Favorite volleyball memory: : I will always remember all the quirks that the LCU volleyball team has. From our creations of alter egos, to somehow relating an awesome play to food, there is never a dull moment. Oh, and I can't forget the grits.

Hobbies and/or favorite activities: : I enjoy riding horses, reading, laughing, watching movies, being outside, and spending time with friends and family.
Favorite volleyball memory: : Winning the State Championship in high school and beating LSA my senior year.

Favorite Scripture: Matthew 5:16, "In the same way, let your light shine before men, that they may see your good deeds and praise your Father in heaven."
Hobbies and/or favorite activities: : I love playing the guitar and singing. Being with my family and friends is also something that I do on a regular basis. Volleyball is definitely a favorite though.
Favorite volleyball memory: : My favorite volleyball memory is from our team bonding night. I only knew three of the girls so I was a little nervous. We did some super fun and crazy stuff, but I will always cherish the most the way every girl on the team welcomed me. I felt important and loved.

Hobbies and/or favorite activities: I enjoy volleyball, playing the guitar, and singing.
Favorite volleyball memory: My eighth grade year we won our regional tournament. We had so much fun!

Hobbies and/or favorite activities: I love to draw and play piano. I also enjoy anything outdoors, and I like to play volleyball occasionally...
Favorite volleyball memory: Just last season in general. It's hard to pinpoint one great memory when the whole season was full of loud bus rides, hilarious moments on the court, and inside jokes only the team understands.

Hobbies and/or favorite activities: : I love hanging out with friends! I love to laugh and have fun every single day. I also enjoy long walks on the beach and hot chocolate on a cold night.
Favorite volleyball memory: : I honestly don't think I have a favorite, just because every day we have so much fun and add to the memories!
