Amanda Bowman
Head Coach

Coach Amanda Bowman is beginning her eighth year as head coach of women's basketball at Lincoln Christian College. Before becoming head coach, Coach Bowman played four years at LCU and was the Assistant Coach for one year at LCU. Amanda received her Bachelor of Arts in Christian Business Administration in 1999. While playing at LCU, Amanda was a three-time NCCAA All-American and is currently first in the record books for career steal and assists. She is also second in career scoring.

Coach Bowman has led her team to the National Christian College Athletic Association (NCCAA) National Tournament three times finishing fourth, ninth, and fifth, respectively. The Red Lions won their first Regional Championship banner in the school's history in 2003-2004 and Coach Bowman was selected as the NCCAA Div. II Midwest Coach of the Year. In the 2005-2006 season, the Red Lions won their second Midwest Regional banner.

Along with her coaching duties, Coach Bowman is the Assistant Athletic Director and works in the Accounting Office. Coach Bowman lives in Lincoln with her husband, Donnie, and four children, Karissa, Drew, Jenna, and Myah.
