10/13/09-Goalie Emily Rose had 19 saves for the Red Lions Women's soccer team as Kaskaskia
handed Lincoln Christian University a 0-5 loss Monday afternoon. The Red Lions are 0-7-1,
and play their final match of the season on October 14 at Eureka College. 10/12/09-The Women's soccer team of Lincoln Christian University dropped a 2-1 game to Moody Bible Institute Saturday afternoon. The goal for the Red Lions, 0-6-1, was scored by Katie Rowliison. LCU will be playing today at 4:00 pm when they host Kaskaskia. 10/8/09-The Women's soccer team of Lincoln Christian University lost to MacMurray 0-4 Wednesday afternoon. The Red Lions were able to make 7 shots on goal and goalie Emily Rose had 12 saves. The 0-5-1 Red Lions will be playing this Saturday at 1:00 when they host Moody Bible Institute. 10/5/09-The Red Lions women's soccer team played to a 2-2 tie with Faith Baptist Bible College Saturday. LCU was able to make 13 shots on goal ( the most in any game this season) and Hannah Watson had the two goals. Goalie Emily Rose had 18 saves. The game was tied at the end of regulation play, and as neither team was able to score in the two 10 minute overtimes, the game ended as a tie. LCU's record is now 0-4-1. The Red Lions will be playing at MacMurray this Wednesday. 10/2/09-After playing to a 0-0 first half the Red Lions women of Lincoln Christian University lost their soccer game to the Beavers of Blackburn College 3-0. Krys Alexander scored two of the goals for the Beavers. The Red Lions women will be playing again Saturday at 3:00 when they host Maranatha Baptist Bible College. |
