Dr. Christopher B. Beard has dedicated his life to helping people be transformed to better reflect their God-intended potential and purpose. Having served the local church in various capacities for over 20 years, his focus has recently shifted to helping equip and develop Christian leaders through the venue of Christian academia. As Professor-at-Large and Director of the Master of Arts in Organizational Leadership, Beard strives to not only assist students in becoming equipped for the benefit of their organizations, but also in being transformed for the benefit of God’s Kingdom. Beard and his wife Kerri have four children, two dogs, and a slightly-unhealthy obsession with the Kansas City Chiefs.
“If the Great Commission is to be fulfilled in an increasingly post-Christian world, it is imperative for God's people to be conspicuously present throughout all of society. Any efforts by the church at large to engage in God's mission will be incomplete without an intentional effort to develop Christian leaders for every context.”
