Dr. Frank E. Dicken comes to LCU by way of Scotland, as well as being an alumnus of LCU. Concerning his scholarly work, he enjoys studying the narratives of Luke and Acts, the history behind Scripture, and how early Christians reflected on Scripture. An Assistant Professor of New Testament, Dicken enjoys engaging his students in class, in conversation, and through social media. This past summer, he led a New Testament study tour that was a decided success and looks forward to leading more tours for students in the future. Clearly, Dicken experiences great satisfaction knowing that through his teaching he is serving the church and the world.
“LCU will prepare you for your chosen vocation, but at the heart of all we do is reflection on Scripture. A degree in Biblical Studies will prepare you to handle Scripture responsibly throughout your entire life and integrate that learning into many different fields or vocations.”
Dr. Frank E. Dicken, Associate Professor of New Testament
