Dr. J.K. Jones delights in seeing the life situations of the students he encounters in LCU’s MA in Spiritual Formation offered at Eastview Christian Church in Normal, Illinois. “They have experienced enough of life that they are marked by humility and hunger,” he says. Step outside the classroom, and Jones comments on the rich countryside surrounding LCU, indicating that the “Illinois prairie plays a part in how faith and learning are uniquely nurtured.” He proclaims himself an “outdoors guy,” and loves puttering in the yard, taking motorcycle rides, and taking walks with his wife. “This is a good place to hear the whisper of God.”
