After ten years as a missionary in Central Africa, Michael Nichols was asked to teach classes in Missions and Youth Ministry at LCU. With those two areas being his biggest passions and LCU being his alma mater, Nichols gladly agreed. It gives him great joy to see students who are “willing to step way out of their comfort zones to be a witness for Christ in places many are not willing to go.” Nichols’ own clan consists of his Canadian wife and three adult children, each born in a different country. To top it off, he has two awesome grandchildren.
“Cross-cultural skills are needed everywhere today. All the cities of the world are internationalizing. A degree in intercultural studies will give you the knowledge and skills to cross the cultural gaps that are now found everywhere.”Dr. Michael Nichols, Professor of Intercultural Studies
