Dr. LC Sutton

When Dr. LC Sutton talks about the art of preaching, he can quickly provide relevant details from his own background as a preacher. Serving the local church in North Carolina and Indiana helped prepare him for his role of Professor of Christian Ministries at LCU. Sutton continues to serve in the local church nearby, enlisting LCU students to help serve his small congregation and gain valuable experience while earning their ministry degrees. Sutton is married with two daughters and a son, and likes to watch the Chicago Bears.

“Our mission here at LCU asks that we spend time with our students and encourage them to be engaged in ministry during their stay. What I like most about that arrangement is my students’ willingness to serve.”
