BA in Sport Management

A degree in Sport Management will help you develop the management skills, industry knowledge, work ethic, and character required to succeed in a wide verity of employment opportunities in the growing sport management field.

Students will benefit from smaller classes, while gaining valuable experience assisting with LCU’s intercollegiate athletic programs, and having the opportunity for hands-on experience assisting with intramurals and tournaments. Within this program, an emphasis is placed on integrating Christian faith into the management of sport. Students will learn that sports is more than wins and losses, money, or entertainment. Students will be reminded of their value as image bearers of God, and will be encouraged to view sports through the lens of human flourishing. Physical health, the value of play, and a healthy understanding of competition will all be examined through a Biblical worldview. Sport managers and coaches have a unique opportunity to impact those they interact with on a daily basis. This program would equip students to go into this field and be a light for Christ.
