Ethan, LCU ’15, and Britney (Flora), LCU ’13, LCU ’17, met at LCU in 2014 and got married on June 30, 2018.
Over the last couple of years, Ethan has been serving as a worship minister in Monticello, IL, and Britney as an Enrollment Counselor at LCU. Since 2011, Britney has participated in several Restoration Week Trips to Pinehaven Christian Children’s Ranch in St. Ignatius, MT, including an internship over the Summer in 2014. Ethan joined her on two trips in ‘15 and ‘16. Over the years, they fell in love with the staff, students, and the beautiful, serene landscape of Montana.
A few months after their wedding, they were contacted by Pinehaven regarding a new program starting up in 2019; a gap program for college age students aimed towards helping them grow in discipleship, responsibility, organization, and preparing them for their next steps in life. After weeks of prayer and consideration, Ethan and Britney decided to answer God’s call in this season of their life, and will return to this special place. They will serve as discipleship mentors where they will house students and walk with them through the program, and serve with the worship ministry at their local church.
Over the years, Pinehaven has continued to provide a safe and stable home and environment for young students where they can learn and grow in the understanding of God’s love for them. Britney and Ethan are very excited to partner and serve with this new program at Pinehaven.
The Frontone’s are thankful for the love and support they have received over the years, and in this upcoming transition. They left for Montana on December 30, 2018 and will be getting settled in after the first of the New year.
