Charles “Chip” C. Moody, LCS ’80, LCS ’79, passed into glory on June 21, 2018.
Chip completed his M.TH at Yale Divinity School while preaching at Boulevard Christian Church in Baltimore, MD. He then entered the Navy and served with distinction as a chaplain from 1982-1989. He spent the next 22 years as the senior pastor of Mountain View Christian Church in Phoenix, AZ, and then accepted a call in 2008 to serve at Phoenix Seminary. He is survived by his wife of 43 years, Gina, three children, and eight grandchildren. He was a friend to many from all walks of life who experienced his with, humor, and grace.
