Matthew R. Hobler, LCC ’00-’03

Matthew R. Hobler, LCC ’00-’03, began his eternal life July 31, 2018.

Anyone acquainted with Matthew knew that he loved people no matter what their background was. He loved music. During his touring career he especially loved the people he met, stayed with, and played music with. He was a born again Christian and loved walking, singing, and sharing his faith alongside his wife, Jessica. One of his favorite ways of doing that was taking food and going out in the streets and parks to pursue the homeless, hungry, and the lost. He sought authentic community with people. Matthew is survived by his wife, Jessica, parents, Rick and Karen Hobler, his brother Justin and sister Hilary Okafor and their families.
