Michael “Mike” W. Coombs, LCC ’63-’75, passed away on January 22, 2019.
He served churches in Florida, Michigan, Missouri, Indiana, and Illinois for a total of 29 years. In addition he worked 19 years for the State of Illinois. Mike was devoted to his family and to the study of the Word of God. He is survived by his wife, Sally, son Paul, LCC ’96 (Joanna), daughters, Carrie, LCC ’94, LCS ’00 (Phil, LCC ’85-’87) Bussman and Julie, LCC ’94-’95 (Todd) Hetrick, three foster daughters, 11 grandchildren, and three great grandchildren.
