William “Bill” K. Casler, LBI ’52, went to be with the Lord on November 29, 2018.
Bill served as a Pharmacist Mate in WWII. He accepted Jesus as his Lord while in Guadalcanal. He was a preacher, teacher, and family, marriage, and child counselor. Bill attended the Church of Christ in Murrieta, California, and City Christian Church in Menifee, California. He loved traveling, missionary work, his church and friends, camping, playing his trumpet, and watching baseball, especially the Dodgers. He will be remembered for his dedication to God, his love of family and friends, and his passion to serve others. He is survived by his children Ken (Christine) Casler, Keith (Shirley) Casler, and Kerry (Sharon) Casler, eight grandchildren, and 16 great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife, Dorothy.
