Midwest Ministers’ Retreat & Summit
The Midwest Ministers’ Retreat & Summit is just short of being a twenty-four hour event. It is designed to challenge, encourage, and provide practical information to preachers and ministry staff to become better equipped in their ministry roles.
This year the retreat is being given a new look, with Monday evening being more of a retreat format and Tuesday being designed to be a leadership summit.
Monday evening will feature Mark Weber who recently retired from 45 years of ministry. He will speak on the topic of the “privilege and pain of ministry.”
On Tuesday, the Center for Church Leadership, out of Cincinnati, OH, will present an all day summit based on Acts 2 called “Reposition” which will focus on five challenges churches are facing and five shifts churches can make toward health and growth. Tim Wallingford (Executive Director of CCL) and Shawn McMullen (Editor of the Lookout and minister of the Vevay Church of Christ in Vevay, Indiana) will lead these sessions.
