Capital West Christian Church exists to help people take their next step with Jesus. We believe that if enough people take enough steps that there will be a day that this city of government will be more heavily influenced by the Kingdom than the state. We are looking for a Worship Arts Minister who will help us take the next step organizationally.
Jefferson City is a beautiful community in central Missouri. It is diverse, quirky, and full of life. While the city itself has a lot to offer in the way of entertainment, educational opportunities, and arts, it is also located in a fantastic outdoors/adventure area of MO. Numerous hiking trails, bike paths, and camping opportunities abound. Head 30 minutes north, and you are in Mizzou territory in Columbia. Head 30 minutes southwest, and you’re at MO’s breathtaking Lake of the Ozarks.
We are looking for the next member of our team. The right candidate is a servant leader who will love the people he or she leads in worship and desires to become a deeply connected member of the church they serve, and who wants to enjoy the people he or she works with. We are looking for a person who cares about theology, who sees the mission of the church as more important than his or her role in the church, and is looking for a place to serve long-term. As far as technical skills, we are looking for a team-builder with excellent interpersonal skills, an eye and ear for quality, a high level of vocal and either keyboard/piano or guitar skill, and enough technical acumen to handle the ever-growing technical aspects of ministry in-person and online.
