Job Description:
Community Bible Fellowship (CBF) is seeking a Student Discipleship Pastor to oversee the Junior High and High School Youth Ministries (known as our “Impact Student Fellowship”). We are a healthy, growing, multigenerational church located in El Paso, Illinois (approximately 20 miles north of Bloomington/Normal). Our average Sunday service attendance is 120-150 (post-COVID).
CBF has a unique ministry in our community, providing outreach beyond its regular Sunday morning services, which includes ministry to 120-140 each week who are under the age of 18 through its Can Do Kids Children’s Program (70-80/week) and it Impact Student Fellowship (50-60/week). Most of these children and youth do not attend our church, and many come from unreached families in our community. We also have a separate property which was refurbished and repurposed 8 years ago and has been dedicated exclusively to serving our Junior High and High School Impact Ministries.
Our previous pastor in this role was a trailblazer in outreach to the community, providing excellence in youth ministry opportunities, and investing in the young people of our church and our community. We are looking for our new Student Discipleship Pastor to continue to grow our program and continue to invest in impacting the hearts of our young people for Christ.
