Early Chapel Christian Church Pastor Job Description
General Description of Church: Early Chapel Christian Church is a small non-denominational Christian church located on a gravel road between Earlham and Winterset, Iowa. Our membership consists of both multigenerational families and individuals. Our small rural church has very modern facilities with internet and media capabilities. We have been offering our Sunday morning services on Facebook Live since December, 2018, for those that are not able to attend to worship services.
The church has an active board of directors that meets monthly. It consists of the elders, deacons, committee chairs, trustees, treasurers, and pianists. Our committees consist of Worship; Fellowship/Social; Outreach; Christian Education; Finance/Property & Fundraising; and Communications & Public Relations. These committees work together to coordinate our yearly activities. The ladies of our church also have quarterly Christian Women’s Fellowship meetings.
The Sunday worship service includes singing, joys and concerns, weekly communion, prayer, sermon, and short communion and giving messages. We love music and are blessed to have three wonderfully gifted pianists.
