Job opening: Youth Minister / Associate pastor

“THE FIELDS ARE RIPE FOR HARVEST!” surely fits this time and season in the history of our country. For a small town of 3200 people, the challenge of recruiting young people to “church” is daunting. However, with some 1200 kids in our excellent school system, the souls are there waiting to be challenged. If we lose our kids, we lose our churches in the future.

First Christian Church in East Prairie is looking for the right person “for such a time as this”.

We are looking for a biblically sound, motivated person to take a small youth group of about a dozen kids and grown it into a force for our community. We have a base, we have a facility, we have financial resources, we just need YOU.

This individual would be a member of the church board and would support the senior pastor in teaching and preaching as well as serving the needs of the congregation, this person would represent our church in the community and be a representative on the Ministerial Alliance committee in the community.

Salary range including benefits would be in the mid $40,000 range. Paid vacation and holidays are included.
