We are the First Christian Church of Cave in Rock, Illinois, on the beautiful Ohio River and we are looking for a Preacher.
We need a Preacher who is Spirit-led, who seeks God’s will by searching His Word and follows the teachings of Jesus Christ and preaches the Gospel.
Our church was established in 1872 and in that 150 years has historically tended to be part of the Restoration Movement and we want a Preacher who shares those values.
We need a Preacher who will be part of the community, is a self-starter and preferably is bi-vocational. We want to reach out to all, young and old, to be inclusive and bring everyone to Jesus!
Cave in Rock is surrounded by the beautiful Shawnee National Forest, so you can hunt, hike, fish, or go rock climbing.
