About Frankenmuth Bible Church:
Frankenmuth Bible Church began in 1982 after a group of like-minded Christians started meeting together at a home in Frankenmuth, Michigan. The group then continued to gather for worship meeting at List Elementary School for the next eight years. What It’s Like to Live in Frankenmuth, Michigan:
Frankenmuth is a city in Saginaw County, Michigan with a population of nearly 5,000 residents and nearly 3 million visitors each year. Bronner’s Christmas Wonderland, which bills itself as the world’s largest Christmas store, is located in Frankenmuth.
The city’s name is a combination of the word “Franken” which represents the Province of Franconia in Bavaria, Germany. The German word “Muth” means courage, so the name Frankenmuth means “courage of the Franconians.” The area was settled and named in 1845 by conservative Lutheran immigrants.
In addition to Bronner’s, Frankenmuth is known for its Bavarian architecture, Zehnder’s Restaurant offering world famous chicken dinners, the Cass River with the Bavarian Belle Riverboat, waterparks, numerous restaurants, hotels, and gift shops, along with the Frankenmuth Historical Museum and Michigan’s Military and Space Heroes Museum. With a number of festivals taking place in Frankenmuth throughout the year, Zehnder’s Snowfest and the Frankenmuth Autofest are two of the more prominent, drawing thousands to the area each fall and winter.
Frankenmuth’s schools are consistently rated among the best in the state of Michigan with nearby Saginaw being home to Saginaw Valley State University and Delta College, one of the nation’s top rated community colleges, is located in nearby University Center, Michigan.
