Martelle Christian Church (MCC) is seeking someone to join us in the role of associate minister. This individual will work closely with the elders and pulpit minister as a member of the leadership team for our congregation.
The primary duties will be in support of youth and family ministries. Remaining duties are flexible and will be split between ministries that support the needs of the congregation and community while taking into account the strengths and passions of the minister. We are seeking an individual who will come alongside our existing youth ministry group and work with them to expand the current youth program for middle school and high school students. The individual we are seeking will help to build a ministry that engages and disciples children of all ages while providing support for parents and families. This individual will have the ability to provide oversight while participating in the daily ministry of the Church and will be passionate about engaging as many members as needed to serve in this ministry.
The ideal candidate will have the following characteristics:
· experience with youth / family ministry
· a family, and the requisite experiences that come with it
· a passion for youth, families, and family issues
· the ability to teach and involve others in the ministry and service of the church
