Senior Minister/Lead Pastor

Senior Minister/Lead Pastor Position – New Life Christian Church – Chickasha, OK. Report to Elders, full-time position.

New Life Christian Church, a restoration church in Chickasha, Oklahoma, is in a town of approximately 20,000 people located about 30 minutes southwest of Oklahoma City. NLCC was established in 1983 and has seen God do many great things through the decades. We value our members and community and believe the church should be externally focused to reach the lost. Because of that, we are active in the community and world we live in through providing annual clothes for compassion to help clothe families, monthly packaging and distributing food to the needy and seek to impact our community for Christ.

We use contemporary worship music, children’s, youth and senior ministry to connect our members and the public. We have active life groups throughout the week and seek to train our youth in loving and serving God. We constructed a brand new multipurpose gym/fellowship hall/kitchen in 2017 and just remodeled our sanctuary last year in addition to an adjoining house used for classroom, bus barn, and storage building.

We are seeking just our third senior minister in our 38 year history. Our motto is: “Honor God, Serve Others and Share the Good News of his Love.”

In addition to Biblical qualifications as an Elder, we hope our next minister is a strong preacher in the pulpit, great teacher and relational to those within and outside the church.

Duties and Responsibilities would include shepherding our membership, preaching Sunday mornings and leading a life group during the week, and administration of the church staff and volunteers.

Candidates must possess a college degree from a Christian college, be committed to Restoration Movement principles, and have a passion for reaching families for Christ. The minister has oversight for the staff comprised of the part-time worship leader and media director, part-time youth ministry coordinators, part-time children’s ministry coordinators and the church secretary. Salary is commensurate with experience and skills.
