This “Minister” will be expected to focus attention on the development and implementation of programs/activities to serve the needs of the youth (Pre-k thru 12th Grade) and young adults in the North Brunswick Christian Church (NBCC),
Working under oversight of the Elders, with direct supervision from the Senior Minister, this “Associate Minister” will be required to: establish “age appropriate” classes for the youth/young adults during Sunday School and Morning Worship hours. [This will require recruitment of church members to assist]; oversee church camp activities; trips to youth conventions; and potential youth mission trips; establish “special events/activities” for the youth/young adults — and reach out into the community to draw youth/young adults to the Lord’s Church here; work with the Senior Minister, and church staff, in support of administrative activities: (i.e., weekly church bulletin, special announcements, and “social media outreach”) teach youth/young adult classes as needed; work with the Senior Minister in planning a yearly “calendar of events”; perform “Senior Minister responsibilities” whenever the need arises; assist in “worship services” as requested, attend meetings, be available to counsel “individuals in need”.
