Pastor

Onarga Christian Church is a small congregation with a heart for service and missions. We are seeking a pastor to lead us and serve the community alongside us. We are located at the edge of Onarga, Illinois, a small farm community, with members traveling from several neighboring communities. We are looking for a full-time minister who preaches the bible and will serve the congregation and the community. We seek a pastor who will appreciate the balance of traditional and contemporary service styles, and will prayerfully strive with us to increase our numbers. With a membership of about 120, regular attendance averages around 65. Our board members work well together for the good of the church and to further God’s kingdom. The board recognizes that a minister requires support to be successful. We recognize God’s plan for church members to work together to represent the body of Christ. We offer a large and beautiful parsonage.
