Position: Full-Time Minister

Onward Christian Church is seeking a full-time minister. We seek a man who can spiritually lead, feed and strengthen the body of Christ here at OCC.  We seek a Godly man with a Servant’s Heart who will deliver sound doctrinal sermons, have positive interaction with church members and become an integral part of our community.

Who we are:

Onward Christian Church has been active in rural north-central Indiana for over 150 years.  We are an Independent Christian Church who subscribes to and follows the beliefs and values of the Restoration Movement.

Our congregation is multi-generational with strong community ties and Missions Outreach. We offer a Women’s Fellowship Group and a Mid-Week Bible Study Group. We support The Ark Christian Ministries summer camp near Converse, Indiana.  We are self-governed through the stable leadership of our Elders, Deacons and Trustees as we seek God’s guidance in all things.  Salary is negotiable; and includes benefits, vacation time and continuing education reimbursement.

Qualifications:

·         Fully Ordained Minister or who is willing to pursue ordination.

·         Minister who understands and embraces the doctrine of the Restoration Movement and the Independent Christian Church

·         Bachelor’s Degree in Ministry, Biblical Studies, or similar discipline

·         Degree from a Restoration Movement University/College preferred
