FULL-TIME / PART-TIME BI-VOCATIONAL SENIOR PASTOR
The non-denominational Pawnee Christian Church was founded in 1974, is located in Pawnee, Illinois, and typically draws 50 to 60 people each week.
Pawnee Christian Church offers a weekly Sunday School for adults which is followed by a morning service and a children’s church. Other events include youth group, first Sunday breakfast and monthly senior adult luncheons.
The goal of Pawnee Christian Church is to bring glory to God in whatever it does. The church is warm and welcoming.
We are seeking a full-time or part-time bi-vocational Senior Pastor to serve as the chief undershepherd and overseer of Pawnee Christian Church, feeding, leading and nurturing the sheep. The Senior Pastor’s main responsibilities will be to communicate God’s word, minister to spiritual needs and provide biblical leadership for the church and community.
They must collaborate with the eldership, deacons, deaconesses, associate pastor, and associate worship leader as a member of the pastoral staff.
Degree from seminary is required. A minimum of five (5) years of previous pastoral experience is preferred, but it is not required.
