The Audio/Video Director is responsible for the leadership of St. Mark’s audio and video efforts, in support of onsite/online worship services and activities. The Audio/Video Director is responsible for defining technical strategies that align with the church’s AV needs, and for working with the appropriate church leaders to acquire budget, and to purchase and install the needed equipment. The Director defines processes and training materials that allow volunteers to successfully run the equipment and is responsible for making process and equipment improvements; the Director is also responsible for researching and resolving technical issues. The Director recruits, schedules, and trains AV volunteers for all AV-related activities. The Director also works with pastoral and music staff to understand their AV needs, and provides feedback to adapt worship plans, as needed, ensuring the best onsite/online worship experience.
