Position Requirements:
The part-time Worship Minister will be responsible, with assistance from the Senior Minister, to plan, develop and execute worship services. Will work with volunteer singers and musicians. Must successfully pass a background check.
10-15 hours per week. Hourly rate between $23 – $27. May work a flexible schedule in order to coordinate with others on the team for worship practice. Must be available onsite for weekly practices (currently Thursday nights from 7:00 – 9:00) and onsite for both services on Sunday mornings (practice at 8:30 Sunday mornings followed by two services beginning at 9:30 and 11:00 a.m.).

Professional:
● Have experience leading/managing other people
● Have ability to sing, and play guitar and/or piano/keyboards; additional musical skills a plus
● Be creative, proactive, and organized
● Have excellent written and verbal communications skills
● Have experience with Planning Center or other planning/scheduling application
Primary Responsibilities:
● Schedule volunteers for practice and Sunday morning services
● Lead the congregation in worship and direct the flow and elements of service
● Design worship services including coordination of music, biblical readings, communion, and responses for the worship service and align with the sermon series (meet with Senior Minister as needed)
● Communicate with Worship Technology Coordinator on the order of the service, timing of songs, slides, and readings.
● Provide guidance to worship team members, musicians, and singers, both musically and spiritually to promote growth in their spiritual gifts, their relationships with those they serve, and their relationship with Christ.
