Tri-Village Christian Church was founded in 1961 and has seen steady growth throughout recent years, even in the size of our staff. Our beautiful campus sits on 46 acres of land, which includes an 18-hole disc golf course, trail system, and gym.

About the Role:
The Student Life Pastor/Director is responsible for the overall leadership and coordination of birth through young adults by working with current children and youth staffing along with ministry leaders pertaining to each area. The position will focus on engaging families, equipping, team building, volunteer recruitment, and raising up leaders in a fast-paced environment as the church seeks to “Connect All People to Jesus and One Another.”
The Role Will:
Serve as point person for the Family Ministry Department.
Work with Early Childhood Coordinator, Children’s Director, and future Family Life staff on a comprehensive discipleship plan that equips families to live Christ-centered lives.
Develop on-going volunteer recruitment and training opportunities.
Assist in Leadership Residency program as it pertains to birth through young adults.
Coordinate the Student Ministry (6th-12th grades).
Work to expand Middle and High School Student Ministry opportunities including development of a plan for how to engage students (with busiest times during the summer).
Coordinate implementation of any policies/procedures related to the Family Life Ministry.
Develop seminar and educational options for parents/guardians and/or grandparents.
Look at ways to creatively implement the value of “Multi-Generational Ministry”.
Further develop college/young adult ministry by raising up leaders for this ministry.
Take an active role in the majority of family events as needed (i.e. VBS, young adult events).
Plan workshops and other events in partnership with appropriate staff person(s).
Explore ways to creatively reach students in local schools and the community.
Regularly meet both one-on-one and with entire Family Life staff.
Create opportunities that allow both new and established students to connect to the church.
What You Bring:
Education & Experience
A Bachelor’s degree is required.
Minimum of 3 years full-time in church ministry dealing with students.
Minimum of 2 years at the same church.
Personal Characteristics
Ability to build teams and raise up leaders.
Excellent in communications.
Energetic personality.
Good sense of humor.
Easy to approach.
Aligns doctrinally with the church.
