Debbie Strater Sempsrott is a preacher’s kid, pastor’s wife, and mother of two. As a mother she has joined the “sisterhood” of special needs and of adoptive moms. Debbie is also a proud “Nana” to two grandsons and a teacher to 4th grade students. She serves as a women’s minister through the church and ministers through organizations in the community that serve women in need.
Growing up in Springfield, IL, Debbie is happy to return to her roots to be with us for this year’s conference. She is a graduate of both Lincoln Christian University and Hope University with Bachelor of Art Degrees in music and education. She holds a teaching credential from Cal State Fullerton, and a Master’s Degree in Marriage and Family Counseling from Hope International University, Fullerton, CA.
Most of all she is best known as “Just Debbie”, the girl next door who loves to play golf, swim, and laugh. She is the co-author of three books with her comedian friend, Denise Rogers. Their message is one of honesty, hilarity, and hope. Their books contain grins and giggles, tears and triumphs, and hope and healing for the woman’s soul. Through her speaking and writing you will stand in awe of a God who meets each one of us personally, powerfully, and providentially. Her message: God is at work in you!
Sheila Walsh is the Scottish girl known as “the encourager” to the over 6 million women she’s met and spoken to around the world. She loves being a Bible teacher making God’s Word practical, and sharing her story of how God met her when she was at her lowest point and lifted her up again. Her Message: GOD IS FOR YOU!
Sheila also enjoys being an author—in fact she likes to write everyday – and has sold more than five million books. Her newest book is being released in the fall, It’s Okay Not to Be Okay. She is also the co-host of the television program Life Today, airing in the U.S., Canada, Europe, and Australia.
Calling Texas home, Sheila lives in Dallas with her husband, Barry, her son, Christian, and three little dogs – Belle, Tink, and Maggie.
