CHRISTMAS IN THE CHAPEL 2021 – “A Schmaltzmark Christmas”
This Christmas season millions of weary Americans will once again settle back into their recliners, with a Christmas cookie and a cup of cocoa, and quietly slip into the cozy world of “Made-For-TV” Christmas movies, where the settings are warm and fuzzy, with the appropriate amount of sugar and snow, and the romantic plots are predictably cheesy, with just the right mix of magic, mistletoe, and mayhem. For us, it will be an escape from reality. But for Avery, a life-long resident of Snowy Falls, North Dakota, the “Christmas Capital of America,” it’s the only reality he has ever known. For some reason, unbeknownst to Avery, everyday in Snowy Falls always turns out to be his very best day.
You are invited to join us as we escape with Avery to his Christmas bubble in Snowy Falls, North Dakota to discover the secret behind this special place where everything is preserved under a thick holiday coating of schmaltz, for Lincoln Christian University’s presentation of “A Schmaltzmark Christmas.”
Bring your family and friends to what has become a seasonal tradition for almost 30 years. Ticket request forms will be mailed in October to those on our mailing list. The form will also be available here starting October 20th. You may also contact us by phone at 217-651-4825 or by email.
