We are pleased to announce that it appears the rain on Saturday will hold off until later afternoon or early evening.
As a result, we are proceeding with our planned outdoor Commencement ceremonies. A few quick points:
- First, please bring a mask. You are not required to wear it outdoors, but you will need to put it on if you enter any of our buildings (including to use the restrooms). We recognize that you may think this unnecessary, but many universities are limiting attendance to graduates only or small numbers. We chose not to limit attendance, but we do ask that you wear your mask if you go inside and please don’t linger. If you aren’t willing to do this, both ceremonies will be livestreamed (LincolnChristian.edu/livestream).
- The forecast does allow for the possibility of scattered showers, so just in case it rains before or during the ceremony, we would encourage you to bring an umbrella, towel, and poncho.
Two graduating classes have worked hard in difficult circumstances to achieve these degrees. We are proud of them and looking forward to a great opportunity to celebrate on Saturday!
