Local pastors are invited to attend the 2013 Midwest Regional Evangelical Theological Society (ETS), Friday and Saturday, March 8-9, on the campus of Lincoln Christian University in Lincoln, Illinios.
The theme for this conference, chaired by Dr. James Riley Estep, is “Connecting Church and the Academy: The Relationship between Christian Higher Education and the Church.”
Dr. Estep summarized the theme with the probing question, “What are you passionate about?” He explains further, “That was the advice given to me from other Evangelical Theological Society regional chairmen. Fostering a constructive relationship between the church and the academy has always been a priority in my life and ministry. Developing, articulating, and maintaining that relationship is an ongoing opportunity and challenge for all of us serving in Christian higher education.”
