Lincoln Christian University (LCU) is pleased to announce it has been awarded a grant from the Loftis Foundation of Moore Haven, Florida. The grant will make possible the creation and distribution of teaching resources and seminar speakers to empower Christians to make a defense of their faith and take steps to diminish the loss of faith in youth culture.
The resources will include published materials, digital strategies and face-to-face educational opportunities conducted by experienced leaders. These resources and educational opportunities will be utilized nationwide in church settings, at conferences, conventions and at other schools, colleges and universities. The first phase of this project is expected to take place over the next three years.
LCU President Dr. Keith H. Ray comments, “The goals of the foundation grant and the historic mission of Lincoln Christian University are a perfect match.”
This initiative will become part of the newly named James D. Strauss Institute of Lincoln Christian University. The grant also establishes the Robert Sloniger Endowment for Chicago Engagement, which will fund LCU initiatives in Chicagoland.
