
Lincoln Christian University sent three student paper finalists to the annual Stone-Campbell Journal Conference in Knoxville, TN on April 7-8, 2017.
Jonathan Totty (sponsored by Dr. Steve Cone) won the graduate competition for his essay “Irenaeus on the Economy of God.” Tommy Moehlman (sponsored by Dr. Paul Kissling) also competed in the graduate competition with his paper, “Reimagination and Reinterpretation: An Analysis of the Characterization of Jacob and Esau in Jubilees.” The winner of the undergraduate competition was Kory Eastvold (sponsored by Dr. Frank Dicken) for an essay entitled “What, Then, Shall We Say?: The Interpretation of Romans 4:1.” Congratulations to all three finalists and especially to our two winners.
