Counseling Center

Due to the current COVID-19 pandemic situation, the counseling center is taking precautions to keep you safe. All students who enter the counseling center will have their temperature taken and will be screened for active COVID-19 symptoms (Fever/chills; Cough; Acute respiratory symptoms or shortness of breath; Fatigue; Muscle or body aches; Headache; New loss of taste or smell; Sore throat; Congestion or runny nose; Nausea or vomiting; Diarrhea). If you believe you have a fever or are experiencing these symptoms, please contact us via phone or email to arrange a way to be seen. If you are concerned about coming into the offices in person, please contact us so that we can answer your questions.

Counseling Services
College is an exciting experience, but it is also a time of transition. During transitions like these, life can get a little complicated. Our professionally trained counselors are here to help you figure it out.

The Student Counseling and Consultation Center’s mission is to support the spiritual, academic, emotional, social, and cultural development of LCU students. Our student-centered programs include counseling, outreach, consultation, training, and educational services. In addition to providing on-campus services, we can facilitate medical and psychiatric referrals, referrals to off-campus therapists, and assessment and testing for various needs. Our goal is to help students address personal challenges and develop appropriate skills and knowledge so that they can take full advantage of their college experience.
