Leadership Training programs
Leadership training programs involve Yangon Christian College and Seminary (YCCS), China border training center and Tanai Bible training school. Our main training program is YCCS, established in January 2003. The seminary confers both bachelor’s and master’s degrees. To this date, 214 students have graduated from YCCS. The China border training center is a non-degree program established in June, 2003. It trains Christian leaders for the churches in China and 196 students have graduated from the training center. The graduates have been serving the Lord in China as pastors, youth ministers, evangelists, missionaries, music ministers, church elders, etc. Annual enrollment is 120 students.
Evangelism and church planting
Evangelism includes the church planting program in Tanai, northwest of Kachin state, by means of relocating gold mining workers into villages and then churches. To this date, 20 churches have been established with 353 families in those villages/churches. Another area of MACM’s mission work involves the northeastern Shan state which is part of the golden triangle area and used to be known as a black land, where drug traffickers were in control for many years. Titus Bee and his family are evangelizing there among Lisu, Ah Kha and Lahu since 1996. To this date, nine churches have been planted in the area.
The ministry also comprises music ministry which includes production and distribution of Gospel albums in Myanmar, China and Thailand. Seventy-eight Gospel albums have been produced from our recording studio in the past 11 years. Additionally, 31 open-air preaching and music programs were conducted with our Gospel band known as “Net Music.” Also in the past 11 years, MACM has planted 33 churches in three areas and 523 have been baptized in the name of Jesus.
In His service,
Dr. Lazarus Fish
