“The emphasis on the whole person” is what Dr. Chuck Sackett maintains is one of his favorite things about LCU. The integration of spiritual formation, academics, athletics, and relationships combine to produce an atmosphere that he knows will help LCU students find a course of action for their lives that will positively impact the world. “Watching people come to faith in Jesus and experience life change is as good as it gets,” he says. Sackett loves learning, reading, mountains, photography (particularly nature) and going to movies with his wife Gail.
“Nothing is more important than people knowing Jesus and experiencing a relationship with God. Moving a congregation to see that as their primary mission should be the goal every church leader.”
