Linnea J. (nee Furman) Klendworth, LCC ’69,passed away peacefully in her home February 24, 2019, after an extended battle with cancer.
After receiving her degree at LCC, Linnea worked as the secretary to the head of Purdue University Psychology department. After one year, she became the managing editor for the Department of Psychology Sciences at Purdue. In 1981, Linnea and her husband, Douglas D., LCC ’74, moved to Bartlesville, OK where she gave birth to their twin daughters, Kourtney and Krystal. They later moved to Morris, IL then to West Chester, OH, where they have resided for the past 27 years. Linnea loved Jesus. Regardless of where she called home, she always modeled a servant’s heart in Kingdom work. She served her family as a stay-at-home mom and her church in a variety of ways over the years. Linnea is survived by her husband and daughters.
