Knowing that he wanted to serve God and make a difference in others’ lives led Dr. Silas McCormick directly to LCU as an undergraduate. After receiving a graduate degree and his Juris Doctorate from other universities, McCormick had an epiphany: “My LCU education was the best education I had received.” That realization is what eventually brought him back to LCU. Today, he serves as Vice President of Enrollment Services and is Assistant Professor of Law and Government. McCormick likes to read historical biographies and watch old movies. He has a wife (beautiful, of course) and two small children (who think they’re big stuff).
“True success is not just getting a job—it is developing a worldview that focuses all of your life on loving and serving God and making a difference for Him. That worldview is what will help you become a fulfilled, mature husband or wife, father or mother, employer or employee. College shouldn’t just be about the degree you get. It should also be about the person you become.”Dr. Silas McCormick, Vice President of Enrollment and Marketing and Assistant Professor of Law and Government
