MA in Bible and Theology

Our Master of Arts in Bible and Theology is a 36-hour degree designed to enable Christians to understand the Scriptures holistically and to think theologically regardless of their vocation. Though it’s a graduate degree, it’s not a technical degree – so, no Greek or Hebrew requirements.

Student Testimonies

  • As a full time pastor, husband, and father of two it was hard to imagine how I could ever go back to school. However, the amazing online MA program through LCU made it possible. It was flexible, challenging, and stirred my affection for Jesus all the way through. Without a doubt this program thoroughly prepared me for my next stage in ministry and I am forever grateful to LCU for helping me become the Senior Pastor I am today. I highly recommend the MA in Bible and Theology to anyone!
    — Brian Hunt, Lead Pastor at Crossroads Grace Community Church (Manteca, CA)
  • Getting my MA in Bible & Theology elevated my walk with God and further equipped me in my career in full time ministry. This program is a perfect match for those already serving in the full time ministry or for others who aspire to deepen their walk with God and broaden their impact in their home church.
    — Brian Campbell
  • As a wife, mother and educator, a traditional brick and mortar education was not going to work with my busy life. After looking at many other online master's programs, I was led to LCU to quench my hunger for 'more.' I knew from the minute that I called the enrollment office that LCU was the place for me. The education that I have received has been top-notch. I have cultivated friendships with other students. My professors are open to answering my never-ending questions. At LCU, my joy of learning and my faith in Christ have grown in ways that I could have never expected.
    — Katherine Clayton
  • My experience with LCU's online master's degree program was fantastic! As a mom of three kids, I appreciated the flexibility of schedule and the ability to attend class right from my computer at home. I loved growing spiritually and believe I was blessed both personally and professionally from the program. Many thanks to all of the wonderful professors at LCU!
    — Debbie Cook
  • To be a Spanish speaker learning Bible and Theology in a second language using an online system is not easy at all. However, the Lord always provides! LCU has melded in the Masters in Bible and Theology, a high quality (and always reachable by the student) faculty, a balanced program, financial opportunities, and a really friendly learning system. I have received great, accredited education from Lincoln, that has improved my theological and ministerial training to serve here in the US and overseas.
    — Fabio Miguel Castellanos, Research Assistant, Center of New Testament Studies at New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary
